Dec 2nd meet at Gilligan's Island

Gents,

I have just finished some mods to the Uncle Sam and wish to check them out on Kevin Price's nice model submarine. As some of you may remember the Uncle Sam was called to rescue one of Kevin's boats at the Devils Den. Well, due to Kevin's poor planing and not having bumpers along the hull of his super nice model the Sam was unable to render assistance unless you think running over his sub model several times is helping (some do, haha).

So my new mods will/should allow the tug to hold her hull to the subs hull and push the sub to shore.

Please mark your calenders for Dec 2nd so we can meet at Gilligan's Island (see previous posts for location and directions). i have several SCDS sub captains already on line to show up and allow me to experiment on their fine models so make every effort to escape the port and show up.

We should/shall start at around 10am and finish when we are tired of each other or have drained our batteries or both.

No wonder I was confused. Plastic, huh? What ever happened to the good old days of iron men and wooden ships, or something like that.

Hopefully Sunday will be a great day all kidding aside and I do hope that my RTV rubber bumpers will do the trick.

Kevin showed up with is soviet whateveritis model and I showed up with the Mighty Uncle Sam ready to battle it out. BUT I forgot the radio so I gave Kevin the benefit and called it a draw
