Mere words can't convey how much fun was had at the Fun/run yesterday. If there was such a thing as to much fun, we were having it!!
Plus to top it all off Don signed up two new members.
So now we are officially eight (8-Balls) or was that odd/balls.
    I can never remember.
We wanted to get a new 8-member photo but two had left before the CRS wore off.
We will be posting photos and VIDEO from our new video cameras. We have one very exciting video of Seahorses Kayak cam boat sinking from the boat.
    Sorry Paul!!!!!
Plus the view from Don's Boone of the Seahorse doing his Girly walk into the pond to salvage the craft.
So stay tuned!! Film at 11!!!

            Latest pics from yesterday.

These were captured off my video camera, mounted on the Boone's deck. The blurring at the bottom of the picture was due to water pooling in front of the lens after I surfaced.

Camera is the Oregon Scientific that Steve talks about on our message boards.

Overall I agree with Steve, this camera is a lot of fun.

              Some video from yesterday .

Sorry about the blurring pictures, caused by water in lens after diving.

Great video Don. We need to figure out how to make the water run off the bottom lip of the cameras. There must be something to break the surface tension so it runs away when surfacing?
So the Brighton Swamp Creature is alive and well and has been spotted in Black Creek Park in Chili, NY! I'm glad someone saved my poster for just such an auspicious occasion. Sorry Paul.

Note the first elastic in my original post.

Simply slip that over the front of the camera to get a slight down angle to the camera.

If you watch my video's you do get the blurring for about 5 seconds before it clears after surfacing. I didn't try it yet but I was also going to try de-fogger for divers masks.

                    Hope your enjoying the toys.

                    Cheers

Thanks Ben. I was curious about the anti-fog stuff for the divers mask. I'll have to experiment with some ideas. That camera was a great find, thanks for sharing with us. Your videos are superb. I can't wait to try some methods I have in mind.

                        BD,

                        thanks for posting the video

                        BD,

thanks for posting the video clip..haven't been able to get on here. Did everyone have a good laugh Ha ! I think you guys are just too chicken to go for a swim ! The swamp creature is alive and well !

Larry, I have anti-fog stuff for a diver's mask. We can give that a try the next time we run our video cameras.

On another note, I think we need to get a waterproof light just in case we loose another boat or sub. Our pond is so murky that you can't see 2" in front of you. I had to feel around with my foot to find the kayak. Thank God Patty knew right where it was!

If you attached a woven cord to the lip of the lense do you think it might wick away the water drops??

                            Hey Paul,
                            We did not

                            Hey Paul,
                            We did not laugh.
                            We felt your pain
                            And it tickled!!
Any good Mag-Lite is waterproof. Don has one of the huge Mag-lite's.
The pond is not usually that murky. Must be a low water thing.

                              BD,

                              I heard you guys laughing

                              BD,

I heard you guys laughing your *** off, when the boat was about to tip over. (...and you were the loudest !!!)

Is that Mag-Lite "waterproof" or "water-tight", maybe Don will let me trow his in the pond first to see if your theory works ! Ha

I still can't post the video on Photobucket, it's too big ! You guys will have to wait to see it Friday night!
