There are a group of RC battleshipers that come here. They sink RC battleships with BBs but stay in the shallow part of the park so they can retrieve their ships.

New Park

Hi My wife and I visited Tom Triplett Park Saturday the 14th, and it looks like a perfect venue for a Subreggatta, or at least a regional fun run. Water clarity was good. and access to the water was easy. However the only improvement I would make would be to clean up an area of the bank for easier launching. They do have a floating dock. The lady at the park said that the covered partico/patio could be rented for a reasonable rate. Restrooms and electric outlets and electrical outlets are available. What do you think maybe we could get something going here?
