Trent Park Pool Run. Change of date.

Just a brief update on this.

As of yet I have about 8 people who've said they'd like to attend a possible pool run at Trent Park.

That's not enough however. I'm sure there will be more, but until I can get the word out via magazines and such, it's going to be a struggle to let folk know about the existence of such an event.

Now my other option for a date would be early September. This is when the pool shuts its doors for the winter, but the weather can still be very mild at that time of year, and it doesn't start getting dark too early.

A later date will give me a few months to get things prepared, and get some more confirmations of attendees.

All those in favour say 'I'.

P.s. This doesn't affect the Fun Run in July.

I think you'll need a bigger pool for the Akula!

The T-class would fit well though....*Hint*!

            On the more serious note

On the more serious note having a pool would make for a good place to
test it and it should have the 'standard' bits done by then.

RE T-Class - I was thinking about selling it to Ed Jackson (a friend of Paul
<..surname..>) But he wasn't too happy with the asking price of 250-300
on it complete with 6EX, servos, dual matched ESCs, motors, air
compressor, servos, batteries, charger etc etc. So it never went
anywhere. Having looked at the price of this one on eBay

            http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... &rd=1&rd=1

I'm starting to think I would've regretted selling it at that price...Anyway
now I know I'm keeping it I'll start to get it prepped for Sept.

So I take it there's one at your local pond Andy, as well as this pool one?

              Yes. Although the fun run

Yes. Although the fun run is dependant on getting the pond fit for use.

At the moment the water quality is akin to a Glastonbury portaloo!
