        If you want to sell

If you want to sell some off cuts, I'll take some off your hands.

I think they sell PVC in 8'x4' sheets, but they will slice it up for you.

Well you'll be surprised at how quick it vanishes if it's for that behemoth you're building in the back garden.

I'll take a quarter of a sheet if you get some. Grey or black is preferable for colour.

When taking the mickey, make sure YOUR grammar is spot on first!

Not sure how much the plastic fantastic will be, but I'll be surprised if you get much change out of £100, and it could easily be more.

Sheet plastic material that thickness is never cheap.

There are many different types of PVC. Some of it is air filled (they use this i the building trade- better insulation properties, plus it's lighter and cheaper)- don't get that stuff.

                          Happy New Year to you

Happy New Year to you all!

You may also try contacting a plastic fabricator for your PVC. Try the Yelllow pages etc in your area.

I got some thin grey PVC sheet from a place near Reading. He was happy to sell offcuts or full sheets etc for a cash donation! He was making up all sorts of things in PVC.

PVC rod 2 inch diameter(for lathe turning etc) was easier and relatively cheap to source. I can dig out the details if you would like me to.

Happy New ears to you too!

Yes please, Dave. Cheap large diameter plastic rod always seems a pain in the watsit to source.

Do they do larger diameter rod i.e 110mm (5 1/2")?

                              Andy,

Rang Amari, and they couldn't sell to us apprently....However we've found a local supplier that can cut it for us while we wait. A 2m x 1m sheet costs £165 (in grey ) However you don't need to buy the whole sheet. At the moment I only need a couple of 200mil squares for the piston tank and they come in at 10.49 a piece.

I'll also ask about rod & offcuts while I'm there tomorrow.

If you want me to pick you up any stuff let me know and I'll whack it in the post.
