    212 Cylinder - Mini-R

    Hi Guys,
    I just wanted to show my progress on the Mini-R cylinder prototype for Steve Neills 212. The photo gives you and idea how it will look. So far so good!! BD.

      Hi Jim,
      You can find and explanation ot the R system on my web site. Just click on my banner.
      Here is another photo of the Mini-R and about 80% of the parts in various stages of construction. You can see a full size print showing Steve's 212 with the cylinder inside. BD.

        [color=#000000]Hi BD,

        Just wondering about the overall dimensions, the way you normally break it down.

        Mini R-RCABS System Components
        ID end caps
        OD o-rings
        Lexan tube sections

        Wondering about other application, because initially Steve was referring to the WTC set-up for the Kilo as possibly working in the U-212. Will it fit the Akula, or Seawolf, see were I am going with this. Working on Darrins 1]

          Hi Rick,
          The OD for the large tubes is 2.5". The lengths are not set yet as I am still in the design stage. It will be as short as I can make it all fit. Only having the print to go by I want to make sure it will fit into Steve's hull. The Kilo cylinder would work maybe for a dynamic boat. Not enough bladder for the 212. The 1/32 XXIII would require a 3.0-R. The Mini-R may work in the Seawolf. That would have to be tested. BD.
