Since I'm an outsider to Subron 5, I'll defer to you members. But, the gray/grey sounds kinda interesting. I'll buy one of whatever color you guys choose.
Glad to hear it! Your hat (and it truly is of fine quality -- trust me) will set you back $12.50 . . . plus shipping -- that is, unless you plan to pick it up in Carmel or Georgetown with the rest of us. (Details to follow when the order's complete.)
And I think I'm safe in speaking for Paul here in saying please no more of this "outsider" nonsense, okay? I'M in Los Angeles, and I was adopted into 5-dom with full colors! SubRon 5 is a state of mind, not a state of the Union. Welcome aboard! Now, just see what you can do about joining us in Georgetown. Your hat awaits you!
I think the gray is the winner. And yes I can haul them to Carmel for those who will be there.
Jeff's right, Ray. We fully recognize Wolfpack Members of SubRon5 who live outside the official geographic boundary. Just let us know how we can get your hat to you.
Don't know why I didn't think to post this earlier but here is a sample of the logo for the hat supplied by Jeff's manufacturer.
Scott, I'm sure he could work up a patch for you. But you might check with Don Baker. He made some handsome SubRon5 patches a fwe years ago. He may still have some -- and he's in your neck of the woods.
Okay, here's the finished product; SubRon5 Class A Regatta Gear. Pretty neat, huh?
All the praise and credit goes to Jeff for getting them produced and footing the costs.
For those who preordered and plan to pick their hats up at either the Carmel or Georgetown regattas, pay Jeff $14 in person. I'll have them with me.
For those who need theirs mailed to them, contact me. Price will be $14 plus postage.
If you didn't preorder but would like to get one (without name on back) we did have extra made. At present we have two plain ones left. Reserve yours today.
