Well, Gail and I are making plans to attend the big national show this year -- first time for both of us. It isn't official yet, but it looks very good.

Who else is planning to attend from our squadron? I believe Jeff Porteous and Wayne planning to go.

Glad to hear you guys

Glad to hear you guys are going to make it! If you have a banner or any other SubRon identification, be sure to bring it along!

I'd like to see all the SubRons have banners to display at their local events and at the SubRegatta each year. I think the SC could help with part of the cost, as long as the SubCommittee logo and web address is on it. Shoot me an email if you (or any of the other SubRons) are interested!

I prefer the term "spokesmodel" -- like at the auto shows except our boats would be up on the turntable.

Hat's would be cool. Jeff had some custom SubCommittee hats made a year or two ago and they looked excellent. Maybe his vendor can work us up a quote for an SR5 logo and name on the back?

I also made a 5 minute movie from video clips taken last year. It's definitely PC-only quality but we could run that at our booth/table. Table skirts would help maximize our presentation. And a fireworks show at sundown!

Not to steal his thunder but I heard from Albert last night and he's going to be there too. That's seven of our guys so far.

We've got a very nice banner that Tom Spettel had made for us about four years ago. We'll definitely bring it. And we're gonna need a spot down front!!!
