    I feel even worse now

I feel even worse now - I sometimes write for the magazine

You are absolutely right, of course. There have been a number of problems with the committee of the AMS. recently.

However things can only get better - where have I heard that before!

On a more serious note, the AMS is still good at fielding a number of model submariners in one spot - shows usually.

Liviing where you do there are a number of shows that you will be able to attend this Summer. (BTW Beale Park can often be a little short on submarines in my experience.)

It is probably worth reserving your judgment on the AMS and try to meet them at a show or two this year. (The events will be mentioned here also I'm sure.)

Membership of the Subcommittee and the AMS is probably close to perfection but I take your point about budgets.

ajg141 tells me that the AMS website is back. And it is. Not all the useful content (diving systems) is up yet.

            AMS Website

The AMS website is, as you rightly say, back up althoough there are some pages missing and others appear even older that me. That is old.

Their site was being hosted by the Webmaster at:-

              Lol Clive,

For an aged Pensioner you certainly know how to put the boot in!

Perhaps that's what you mean by an active Pensioner
