The ORCAS fun run is almost here, and I was wondering how many bubble heads will be there this year? The past events have been have been great. Come on October get here already.
Check the following link for an idea of the new lake. It is about half as big as Carmel and we can walk around the lake easily. Plenty of shade, public restrooms and easy lake access. The water is, of course, green but it will help add to the realism of the models. the color is due to plant matter decaying and is common in a most all lakes and streams in the south. The average depth is about 10ft. and the property is new so there isnt much on the bottom but mud.
