        Been through Butler many times.

Been through Butler many times. I'm in Wheeling, but my business is in Pittsburgh, so I'm travelling there almost daily.

I've been out of the hobby since '99, to start my business and a family, and am only very recently getting back in. So, no working boats to speak of yet. But soon.

            First thing you want to

First thing you want to do, if you havent already, is join the Committee and get the subscription to the SC Report.

Next, get as many of the videos of past regattas as you can. They are an unbelievable resource for sub modelling.

If you can make it, go to the Regatta in Indiana this July. You will be blown away by what you see there, and you will learn so, so much!

Now, as for local groups, SubComm East is a great group of guys! Back in 1999 I was able to attend a few meets. These guys are the best. I don't know where they meet anymore (hey Jim, any schedule for this year???) but they are the nicest and most helpful group you could ask for. Hopefully we'll get together at one this year.
