Pond Report
I had a chance to visit the Lake Shore Community Church on Latta Rd between North Greece and Manitou Rd. Yes there is water and a fairly nice size pond, but this is a retention pond for area drainage of the site. The water is muddy brown and it looks like you can see down about an inch below the surface. Since this is a new facility, it might take awhile for the water to become more clearer. My suggestion is to keep looking. I will be taking a trip to Mendon Ponds tomorrow (let me know if that is too far for everyone?) On the way back, there are ponds on the MCC campus and also a nice pond on Westfall road. I hope to have pictures this time
