Ps nu een tiefe/lageregler in de Kilo aan het zetten. Zonder

            Thanks Ronald!

just thought it'ld be nice to stick to English...
Did you know Mr. Engel & Mr. Brüggen have been invited to come to the Hengelhoef sub-meet? As far as I understood they have reacted positively. So if you thought about ordering orf buying something, or need some advise or have some remarks on their products this might be the ideal moment.
I do have some remarks about the Lafayette..

              yep, I need a few

yep, I need a few "gestangedurchfuhrungen"
and possibly a "lageregler" for the Kilo.

Hopefully a lot of germans are also turning up.
Their boats are always impressive pieces of
engineering. I really want to understand how other
people made their axle watertight. Mine always had too
              much friction

                Hi,

                Have you tried using simmerings?

They seem to be the best choice for low friction.

Norbert sells them on his website.

                  Thnaks for replying andy !

                  I

                  Thnaks for replying andy !

I did try these, but it almost seemed they
were smaller than what I specified.
Unused, the diameter of the opening is about 3 mm
                  for a 4mm axle.

And maybe I did not get the right axle material.
At some places along the axle, it ran much easier
                  than others.
the real problem I faced is that the motor
must be mounted spot-on centered with the
simmerring (and possibly a ball bearing)
I could not pull that off.
