SubRon 8 September Outdoor FunRun

Yesterday we had our yearly International SubRon 8 Sub Fun Run.
Weather was good but a bit breezy. Pond Conditions were great.

This year, Bob and Helen from Ohio (SubRon 6) joined us as well
as the Rick, Kevin and Bruce from Canada (SubComOn).
All 8 Balls attended. Don May was our Chef as he cooked
the hot Dogs and Hamburgs for everyone.

As you can see from the pictures, there were many Subs
present and patrolling the pond.

Bob also brought his highly detailed Coast Guard and
Army boats. (Targets). Unfortunately, the wind cause the Army boat
to blow over and start to sink!
Luckily Greg had his waders and was able to rescue the boat
before the weed monster could eat it!

Bruce brought his 1939 1/32 Scale V80 Walter Boat that
is a work in progress. Rick’s Large Flying Sub (FS1) also ran
good as did all the other subs.

It was a good time had by all. Here are some pics.

Thanks Don and Patti for the great pics. Lots of sun but also lots of wind to go with it. Still, a great time with a great bunch of friends.
