SubRon 8 May 19 Outdoor run and picnic

Our first outdoor run for 2024 May19th and picnic Here are some photos I shot from the drone.

Sunday we had our First outdoor SubRon 8 Sub Fun Run
at our new pond. We were joined by Bruce Martin of SubCom ON.
As seen by Larry’s great pics from his quad copter, it was a good time by all.

All boats ran well. Chris and his noodle tug had its first rescue mission as
Bruce’s Type XXI Sub ran out of battery power and needed a push to shore.

Captain Jack Sparrow roamed the pond, while Bruce’s Skipjack Class Sub,
Don O’s Minion Sub, Larry’s Akula and Chris’s Deep Flight II Sub kept a close
watch on him!

Don May cooked burgers and Hots for everyone. It was great to see
Don Spielberger again. Weather was great also.

That's OK Rick, there was more food for the rest of us. Ha Ha Not really, we did miss you not being there. We run there all summer so maybe you can make one of the other runs. You guys are always invited.
