I just got this from Sherry Lambing and she asked me to post it here for Bill:


A month ago I suffered a devastating motorcycle accident. Five days in Intensive Care ICU. The rest here in Rehab. Multiple fractures.
II don't know when I am getting out of here and returning to the Shipyard. Hopefully I will be well in time for the Groton Fun Run.
I don't have access to email or web. Please contact me through my wife's cell phone 860-705-6312 or she has my cellphone 860-389-5862 and will give me any messages from either phone number.

Update on Bill Lambing's communication issues. He has a room phone but it is difficult for him to use right now. He has a cell phone but the cell phone connection is very bad in the room. He can take and read texts on the phone which is the best way of giving him greetings. For those of you who might be in the New London area, he can take visitors. Cards and letters would be great. His wife said he is getting better slowly but it is going to be a long road ahead.

The news about Bill Lambing is good. He is going home from the rehab facility this week. Still a long time to let his bones knit and the rest of him to heel. Use the phone numbers he posted earlier to communicate by text. I'll let y'all know when he can talk on the phone (bad connections at the rehab place).
