SubRonLA gathering - August 27th

Got the message about this coming Saturday's lake gathering.
I will be there. Akula II and rescue barge.

Did a little adjusting on the pitch controller that was not working correctly last time out.
Had no rise on the rear planes with the control stick.
Only down which put me in the weeds.
But the weeds did not like my boat and let go of it when I put in reverse.

Just checked weather for Saturday.
Say 84F at the lake.
That will be 17 degrees cooler than where I live.

It was a satisfying SubRonLA gathering on Saturday—especially for me. Ran my Seaview a lot and she mostly behaved—meaning my fun quotient was pretty high. She performed at something like 80% of her prior best; not bad. Ralph and Will enjoyed running their usual assortment of boats too. And Farlan made some progress re-trimming his Blueback.

Our next gathering at our usual pond site is now slated for SEPTEMBER 24. Join us?
