September Outdoor Sub Fun Run

Today we had our Annual International Fun Run. Unfortunately with this Covid mess
the Canadian Border is still closed, and traveling is still not safe. We miss our Canadian
Sub Captains as well as all our other Sub Captains that make the trip here to run with us.
Most of our 8 Ball Sub Captains were able to make todays event. We did get one visitor
from the Syracuse R/C Boat club, Rob, who brought his beautiful Mr. Darby Tug.
Though still a target, the highly detailed tug ran great.

The weed monster still had not died off so we had to resort to another place on the pond
where weed free water was limited, but still fun. Most of the Sub Captains bought targets
due to the weed monster presence, but the Minion Sub, and two FS1’s were patrolling the pond.
Greg had his R/C Duck in the pond also. Chris’s sea trials on his new target went well.

The Canadians should go to Mexico and come in that way. No one there will stop them, and they’ll even get a free bus ride up to New York to join the 8-Balls.
