I hope you are all well and are surviving the pandemic. As you know California is still operating under restrictions and with the hope that with the vaccinations underway they will be lifted soon.

In the meantime,

May 15th, and 29th.

June 12th and 26th.

July 10th, and 24th.

August 7th, and 21st.

September 18th, The Sacramento Model Shipwright. Will hold their second Bi-Annual Fun Run and Review at Elk Grove Regional Park Pond. I will be there with a tabletop display representing the SubCommittee & SubComMI chapter. http://sacramentomodelshipwrights.org/

I am also working on our annual Fun Run to be held at the Golden Gate Anglers & Casting Club casting pond. Due to the last year, COVID -19 restrictions on events placed by the city of San Francisco. The Anglers have a compressed schedule for 2021 to make up for 2020. so they can only offer us one day. I am shooting for October 9th, which is Fleet week. I will have further updates.

Good New's

I am able to secure a full 2-day weekend fun run date of September 4th and 5th with the San Francisco Golden Gate Anglers and Casting Club to use their 3rd Westside casting pond. I have submitted a permit with the City's Parks & Rec department. Barring any changes of COVID-19 restrictions from the City's health dept, we should get the permit approval.

The Fall Fun Run has received the event permit approval from San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department. We Are Go For Fun!

We are all set for the Fall Fun Run, liability insurance certificate issued to the city, fees paid. Now, all we need is an announcement flyer. I hope for many happy returnees to our annual event after so many long dark days.
