September 2019 Fun Run and Picnic

I joined in with the Rochester 8-balls, Jim Butt from SubComEast, and Bruce from Canada for the last outdoor run of the season, which always means good times, great boats, and delicious food!

Here is a link to some pictures I took that are on my Facebook page. You don't have to be a member of Facebook to view them. They're available to everyone. Normally I'd share them directly, but I'm in a hotel with pretty weak WiFi.

    Enjoy!

It was a great day today, glad you were able to make it up for it!

I tried to view the photos, but it gives me a 'Page Unavailable' message.

Great pics Eric, and yes it is always a pleasure to be over in Rochester and see all the guys and run our boats, great weather, good food, nice job getting the weeds out of our way as well, hope all had a safe trip home, again the border was clear and the CBSA had to have a look at the boats. ( no issues ) Thanks to all who make this happens each year.

          Later Bruce

Like Bruce said, Erich’s pictures came out great. I agree that the day was
perfect and the pond was too after the 8 Ball crew removed the weeds the night before.
We did miss running with Kevin and Rick, but still managed to get quite a diverse
fleet of boats on the water. Thanks to Jim Butt, Bruce Martin,
Bob and Helen Gesking, and Erich Kloss for joining us again this year.
We even had two new skippers run the Minion Dave boat.

Great looking pond. Looks like a perfect day for running boats.

Here's about a minute of video taken from a GoPro attached to a Thunder Tiger Seawolf sub. The water was a bit murky and I really didn't end up with much footage of boats passing closely by. Look closely and you'll notice the weed monsters on some of the boats =)

Great pics and video. Had fun even though it was a bit windy to say the least. Always fun to see all you out-of-towners once again.
