Looking over my schdule, I thnk I might be at the August 10th gathering.
May be wearing bandages but I think there is enough time between this Thursday schudled surgery and Aug 10th to recover enough to make the drive.
That's is the plan I am going with at the moment.
Ralph
Tusday.
Was at the hospital today.
Turned out today, the bandages and stitchng were removed.
A good wash out and then antibotics packed in the open areas.
Covered with a simple surface gauze.
I do not have to go back for two weeks.
This means, "After the next gathering at the lake."
So tomorrow I will be opening up the boat and tx to charging batteries.
I do have an appointment for next Tuesday, but I am sure this one is a consultation.
It is not in the surgerical units.
I think it's to discuse the CT that was done on my neck.
Turns out, this unit cut a grown out of my nect.
They know what it is and they pathology sayd they got it all.
But, they can not find the source that created it.
They say, there had to be a source.
Well I gues I will learn what they think next Tuesday.

Good news.
I was at the hospital an hour and forty five minutes early because I did not want to get stuck in the traffic the news was saying was on the pass.
Turned out to be there but it was moving a 35 to 45 MPH.
I also know if I sign in early and the patient in front of me gets done early, they will call me in.
This happened today.
I was in and out before my appointment was scheduled.
This worked out well, because I meet every other week with a group of friends for lunch.
Turns out I could make it.
For the past 2 months, I have not been able to go.
Good to see friends again.
Very succinct and informative report, Ralph! I've now written up a little longer, more detailed one for the SubCommittee Report and submitted it—with photos—to Tom C. for the September FOX column. Look for it there.
It was indeed a good day, wonderful weather and clearer water than we'd had at our last few outings. Good runs enjoyed by all on hand, with no boats lost—always the bottom line when it comes to a satisfying sub-running day. Good also knowing our brothers in Carmel were running currently this past weekend....
I conducted a straw poll and discovered that October 26th seemed to work well enough for Saturday's attendees as our next official group gathering, which I shall now post separately as a new thread. Thanks to all the SubRonLA squadron skippers who showed up. Will, Neil, Steve and others—we hope you can make it next time.
