Last Saturday, the fam and I went to LA to the informal run at Yorba Linda Regional Park.
It was a cool day with a little overcast. The sun would peek out and give a nice warmth to the body. It was lightly breezy in the beginning, but calmed down to a glass like surface on the water.
Brian ran his ROV and was getting familiar with running it. Unfortunately, with the rain that has been happening the water was cloudier than normal. Maybe next time it will be better.

It is a cool setup by Gladius.

Brian brought his Neptune, but there were issues. He got this sub from Layalhanna Dockyard and it hasn't been working. We all encouraged him to keep working on it. It is a fun sub once it is running.

Ralph ran his Skipjack. It was a pleasure to watch.

Mike brought his Engel Type VII. It is a beast, but runs well.

I brought my Walrus. I had limited space in the car since the entire family came down and we stayed overnight, so we had luggage to account for. The walrus is a super relaxing submarine to run (something I needed with end of school year upon me).

This is the Walrus hovering. I made a video clip just showing it sitting there (not rising or sinking). It is such a joy to me to get it to that state. Apparently there was just the perfect size bubble trapped in the sail. When a Type VII lightly bumped me, the bubble was released and the Walrus slowly descended.

Such a fun day. I cannot thank the men enough for their friendship and help freely given.
