My visits Monday to the main hospital and the Tuesday at the main clinic hospital did not product what I was looking for.
Things got done but not what I went in for.
All was good except for the time lost getting treatment that I was not looking for.
Tuesday was a long drive to be left sitting in the waiting room for a very long time.
Knowing all the doctors where going to leave at lunch time, I approached a staff member when they where calling what looked like the last patient before lunch.
Made a point to ask why I was not called at my appointment time.
I had checked in 20 minutes early and now it was more than an hour late.
Finally I think it was the head nurse came out and we talked then went back in to an office.
Explained I had come to see the doctor a month ago to get a recommendation (needed) to see a dermatology surgeon.
After a few minutes I think the nurse understood why I was bit upset.
This had started 2 months ago to get to see the surgeon.
I will see how this goes.
I was told I should get an appointment message by Monday and to call her if I don't.
    ========================
I guess the point of all this is, I will be able to make this coming Saturday's gathering at the pond.
    Bring one boat. Skipjack.

      I will be there too!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Yesterday's gathering for me was mishap free.l
Once in the water, my boat ran perfectly.
I did some cruising on the surface and then at periscope depth.
Did a couple of bottomings in front of the dock.
Ran a little over 2 hours non stop.
After removing from the water, opened the boat and found not a single drop of water in the cylinder.

I did find that I need to address 1 issue.
I have too much play in the rudder linkage.
The boat when all controls are centered will wonder off to either the right or left.
Seems to be the boats decision.

Got to remember that the rudder and stern plane controls where built and installed when I first built this boat.
The boat has gone through 8 major modifications.
I do think with some minor work, I can tighten up the linkage.
Either the hole in the control horn or a spring tensioner will do.

The water was not as clear as it usually is.
But then it had been raining a few days before.
Still, you could see the bottom at 4 feet or more.

I counted 5 boats in the water and 1 that stayed on the table. Not bad for an unofficial gathering.
