Next SubRonLA squadron run set for Saturday, Oct. 13th

Since all in attendance at yesterday's SubRonLA run seemed pretty open for an October run date, I consulted with Vegas Tom and we’ve decided to go with Oct. 13th as our squadron‘s next Saturday run. Mark those calendars. Hope to see even more of you than showed up yesterday! Meanwhile, for those so inclined, there’s also the annual two-day run in San Francisco coming up on the 22nd and 23rd of THIS month.

Hope to see you at both venues! Also hope to be ready for my closeup!

    Green board,
    Jeff

    Hi guys!

Just a reminder here that the next all-squadron run for SubRonLA is coming up on Saturday the 13th at the usual place and time. I have already sent around a group email reminder about this as well, so everyone should now be covered. A further reminder here that I shall be out of town and therefore won’t make the run this time. Hope you guys have fun and will begin to discuss among yourselves a potential date in early November for our next Saturday Fun Run before everyone otherwise gets too busy with a the holidaze.

    Keep a level bubble,
    Jeff

        Planning on being there!
Hopefully with Gato and Sjöormen Subs.
        Peace,
        Tom
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Due t the rain the gathering was canceled at the last minute.
It was considered to try tomorrow, Sunday.
It sounds like that will not happen either.
          Other commitments.

It is being discussed to see if Oct 20 will work.

If you are interested post what you would like to see happen.
Everyone's opinion is welcome to help schedule another run.
          Ralph

(I was ready to reschedule tomorrow but it seems something I ate is giving me problems and tomorrow might not be a safe day for me to travel)

Sorry to hear that yesterday’s patrol operations were called on account of inclement squalls in the Pacific and North Atlantic...

Jeff, I hear Will and Tom made it to the lake.
Maybe there is a report coming.

Cancelled? A little rain does not slow a couple of us (after all our hobby runs IN water). Will and I did indeed run. I was already on my way to LA when the email went out and it was my wife who texted me that an email went out the next morning. Once Will knew I was there, he hopped over. It was fun. The Gato ran very well and the Sjöormen did as well. Will brought his Alpha. Meet a couple of gentlemen who are interested in getting into our hobby and a couple others just curious. We ran for about 3 1/2 hours.
