Wow, those are some awesome pictures. And that Holland is badass. Erich, how did the go-pro images turn out?

      Mike,

The GoPro did catch a little bit of Jeff's 212 under the waves, and a few seconds of Ace's U-boat. But honestly nothing too spectacular. I need to rethink the positioning of the camera. What did surprise me was how loud Jeff's prop was... the sound really carried.

You know we could try mounting underneath my dad's fireboat and try it as a chase camera. I have to go through my camera pictures still. I was having some kind of gnarly focus problem so a lot of the pictures have very soft focus (that is very generous on my part lol). Joe suggested I reset the entire camera. I'm pretty sure my underwater camera worked well, but there is a pattern developing of only pictures of Jeff's Type 212 working submerged. We all need to rectify that!

Jim and Jeff working on the Holland. It is a really impressive boat in person.

Jeff's Type 212 being a working submarine, unlike a certain USS Guitarro.

USS Guitarro in dry dock after another successful flooding. But at least I managed to beach it this time with out losing a prop (Task Force 50 strikes again!)

Mike Toole brought two 1/96 scale Fubuki class Destroyers. The Fubuki (without superstructure) was leaving a really pretty wake. His second boat, the Uranami, is actually made out of paper. I wish I had written down how he pulled it off, but will ask him again next time I see him.
