    YMCA Feb 2018

It was another great trip to a SubComEast winter meet. I have decided that the name of our Permit should be USS Guitarro in honor of the Architzel family's second successful sinking of our boat at the pool. Our Permit is now in dry-dock airing out! I had a beat up old underwater camera I decided to try out to see if I might want to move up to a more updated unit, and that would be a yes. I took several photos of Jim and Jeff's boats submereged and I have no idea which one is which argghhhh. Also trying to shoot images underwater... not so easy to frame when your above water.

Is it Jeff's? Is it Jim's? I have no clue, either way theirs did not sink.

Time for some under water shots with an old 2 megapixel camera! I have the bug now so i will be doing some research on how to do this better.

Lot of working on boats going on. My dad and brother had no luck getting the water cannon working on his fire boat.

Time for some targets. There were a lot more modern destroyers and cruisers this time.

Mike, great set of photos which I thoroughly enjoyed viewing/experiencing. Since this is submarine committee forum I won't bother folks here about how to prime a suction line for the Aquasport Fire Rescue boat but it seems that it will be easiest just to buy a small priming bulb and insert in the suction path.

Mike, thanks VERY MUCH for taking the time to both take the photos and post them. Something that I've been threatening to do for many years, but never seem to "get around" to. Really appreciated.

Mike, as I recall you took photos of my Type 212 early on and towards the end of the run were taking some photos of Jim's Type 212. That may help distinguish between the two?
