    August 20th SubRon8 fun run

We held our monthly fun run down at the pond today, the weather was great, pond was a bit weedy but our trained moose Greg waded out and cleared a nice area with a rake for us.
Here are some pictures of the action, including the trial run of the Moebius Flying Sub kit that I won at the raffle in Carmel a couple weeks ago (very quick build, made a set of WTC tubes for the gear, propelled with a gimballed prop in a short tube). There were two other Flying Subs there, along with several other subs and a few surface boats.

great day running with our team. Greg rescued the Dolphin from the weed monster, and rescued Patti's sweet Pea (target) from a monster fish line that
wrapped around many times on the prop shaft. Here's some more pics.

Greg actually rescued my Delphin from sitting on the bottom because I didn't tighten the hull joint down enough, letting in a cup of water.

Quick drain, retightened it, back in action!
