    R-10 submerged passby closeup.

    Surface passby, decks awash.

    Now R-10 is headed down...

    ...and down...

    ...to rest on the bottom for a while.

              BD, that water is so amazing. The first time we ran and maybe the second the clarity was good, but not fantastic. The Park Rangers explained they had run off and started the process to clean it up and WOW did they. They told us they wanted us to hold a Regatta there and are willing to make concessions for us to have it. I am hoping SubRonLA will do a FunRun that will be a whole weekend event. It is such a beautiful spot. Next time I am down there, I will bring my underwater camera setup and see how far we can video.
              If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

                I'm thinking the time of year might have something to do with the water clarity as well. We saw that here in Texas with our natural running sites. The cooler the water the clearer it got.
