    January ..... Gathering?

I remember that a date was chosen for January 2017.
I do not remember that date.
I think it is a Saturday but we have meet on Thursdays.

    Can someone remind me.
I have the Skipjack working but I would like to make sure the batteries are all charged.

I do not make plans very often other than getting up every morning.

      Thanks, Farlan,

      That will be good.
This coming weekend shows possible rain.
Maybe the 14th will be better.
I have dug my coat out and it is ready for use.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone there. I will bring the Gato, Neptune, and possibly the Walrus (in whatever state it is in).
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

              Hi guys!

Just a reminder that the upcoming SubRonLA Saturday Fun Run is slated for the 14th at the usual place and time. Neil's coming and bringing his Delta. Steve tells me he'll be there at the helm of his large-scale Type VII -- haven't seen that beast run in years...! Way to go, Steve!

              Who else?

              See you there,

Yes it's true. Working on it now. Just did a full shake down. All working again. Took some doing and tinkering. R-class is running right now. Tested it in a Friend's pool I think I got all the bugs worked out. See you all there,

                Steve

The flu has hit our house and I just got back to work yesterday. No way for me to make it down to LA. Please take a lot of photos!
                  I will miss you guys.

That's right folks! BD designed for me. RCABS-R with a bladder in a ballast tank complete with a valve and a snort system which brings this boat up to proper freeboard and all on 4 channels. Brilliant as always from BD the master of making things that work that often don't for other people. Like Scotty, he's a miracle worker. 8 years later it still works and so does his seals he made me.
