Charged up the Tx and Rx batteries for my Skipjack.
Checked all the controls and it looks like I am good to go.
Boat packed up in it's travel box.
Assorted tools gathered up next to small travel box.
Will get them ready Friday.

The George Washington is working good but I have an issue with the air in the ballast bag leaking back in to the cylinder.
Have checked several things and think this leak is in the vacuum pump.
I have charge all it's batteries as well.
Just need to put the GW in it's travel box.
I will bring the Skipjack and maybe the GW.
See you all there Saturday.
Sorry I've been remiss about posting something here regarding our SubRonLA all-squadron run on Saturday—it's been a hectic couple of days.
The run was quite a success...a great day all around! Only a couple of no-shows of our regular squadron mates (Neil S. is already vowing to join us us next time, which is scheduled for Jan. 14th, by the way) marred things at all; everyone else was on hand: Mike D., Will O., Farlan, Ralph, Alan, Tom C. from Vegas, Steve N. and myself. (Did I forget anyone? If so, so sorry!) EVERYone got in at least SOME good stick and water time. No boats were lost. Only one stranding—Ralph's Skipjack—was successfully pushed ashore by my little Blueback. She actually lost a 'scope in a minor collision while I was in deep conversation with "Salmon" Tom C.—that'll teach me not to pay attention!—but of course I have spares, so no great loss. Steve Neill initially had trouble getting into the park and finding a nearby parking space for his RV, but as the park cleared of charity walk participants later in the day, he moved closer and could finally have his boats join ours. His R-10 had some problems, and his Moebius Seaview was DOA after performing just fine on the bench the night before (ain't that always the way?!), but he nevertheless had a great time launching and sailing his new schooner on her maiden voyage. She looked grand! My own success was that my storied Seaview enjoyed the finest, most controlled run she's ever had...some of it thankfully captured on video for me by Tom C.—proof for the naysayers and doubters out there, including myself! I was beaming all day as a result.
I always seem to have troubles posting photos and videos here, but will make an attempt later when I have some more time. I really need to try: the amazingly clear water here was at its transparent best yet, and I've just gotta show you guys what a wonderful running venue we have in Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim.
Skipjack issues.... I did get about 20 minutes of surface running.
Lost propulsion issue was a set screw on the rear dog bone fitting came loose and the propeller shaft slipped back out of the fitting.
Did not loose the propeller because on the Skipjack the propeller is glued to the shaft and not set screwed.
The other issue was the boat would not dive.
I opened up the boat yesterday on the bench to make sure there was no water in the ballast balloon.
It only took a few seconds to figure out why the boat would not dive.
Removed cylinder fromthe hull.
Placed rear of cylinder in bucket so ballast pump could pick up water.
First issue was the pump direction vs control direction was reversed.
Second the pump was running far too fast and creating air bubbles and not a steady stream of water.
Slowed the pump down and reversed the control at the Tx.
Everything worked as it should.
Why the speed and direction issues.
Well last week I was setting up the boat and all the controls.
Had it ready to go.
Then I decided to see if I could add a second boat to the Tx memory.
Too many menus on these computer Tx.
Next day I Was checking to make sure the Skipjack was still working.
Nope,
The controls where not correct so I made the changed to the numbers I could remember.
Then I realized why things had changed.
I have two Tx(s), both Futaba 9.
When I was setting up the second time, I was not using the boat to verify the changes.
I was using the Tx channel screen which shows which channel is operating.
Had I been using the boat to see the controls work, I would have seen I had the wrong Tx.
The two Tx are not on the same channel.
Anyway.
Yesterday, I could see the boat was doing thing backwards and made the changes while looking at the baot.
In a few minutes, the problems where found and corrected.
I have now put tape on the handle of one Tx so I can easily tell them a part.
Below, gents -- finally! -- are links to videos shot at the recent SubRonLA squadron run: two of my boats (sorry, but that's what I HAVE) and one of Will's. As noted previously, the water clarity was excellent. Enjoy!
I believe the photo issue is Apple.
(Waiting for JB to comment)
I have found it depends on how you hold the iPhone.
It will always look correct on another Apple device. But not a non Apple device.
But I have been known to be full of poop before. BD

Whether you're cropping your photos, importing them into Photoshop, or adjusting your color and saturation, there are tons of different ways that you can successfully edit pictures and videos in Photo

In Windows, to rotate an image I use a simple process.
I open the folder that has the images I want to rotate in Windows Photo Viewer by double clicking on the image file name.
Once it is open you will see the image and you can rotate it in both directions.
When you close the Viewer or click another image, the Viewer will save the image as it is displayed.
