    First of season outdoor funrun

We had our first outdoor run of the season at the official 8-ball pond.
It looked like a good time was had by all.
Thanks to all our friends from other subrons for coming and making it a great event.
Please post any photos or video taken.
Thanks to Donnie for cooking again and all who brought items for mass humanoid consumption.
Even a little rain at the end did not dampen out spirits.
We just hung out under the shelter and talked Bubblehead. BD

Yes it was a great time with lots of friends, food, weeds, rain and rescues. Chris scared away some fishermen when Sharky made a run on them. Kevin didn't launch any missiles due to an outdoor wedding ceremony held near by. Butter tarts were very good but not as good as Brenda's. Food was plentiful and delicious. Just a great day overall.

I see you captured D3 doing what he does best, (besides fiberglass work) QC food testing. BD
            BTW Nice Mini!

Lots of fun as usual. Even was able to time share between the pond and my grandson's 6th birthday party 10 minutes away. Had time to do some testing on my constellation drive system and it worked great. Donny did the food cooking and Bigdave did the motor cooking. Nothing like hot windings (on the airboat motor) to fill the air. The shelter really made the difference as we were able to hang out for a while and kibitz while it rained.

Don't know about you Mr K but I like my motor windings slightly toasted.

Way to go, guys! Good pix, good fun! Seeing Bruce's Seaview in the water brought a tear to my eye, knowing mine will be staying at her dock at the secret NIMR base in Santa Barabara during our own Fun Run out here this Saturday (ballast system issues, about which I've been consulting with BD, but haven't had the time to really get my hands dirty with yet). Anyway, your fun will inspire us to enjoy OURselves as well! BZ! Any leftover butter tarts you can send our way?

                          Best,

slightly toasted? If they got any hotter the fake V8 would have re-formed itself over the brush-less permanently.
