Welcome to your scandinavian topic - This is for us scandinavians
Welcome to your scandinavian topic - This is for us scandinavians
Perhaps everyone from scandinavia could sign this topic so that one could get a feel of how many active ones there are?
And perhaps we could plan some fun runs of our own in the future.
this is great news, I like the idea of a scandinavian chapter and welcome the setup of funruns and/or regattas. It will be interesting to see if this is interesting to others as well.
One problem could be the distances to travel in order to get to meetings etc but I guess these things can always be solved.
Problem är till för att övervinnas
Since I live in the northern parts of Sweden I have this idea of a "midnight-sun-sub-run".
I have also translated a SubCommittee Broschure (got it from Tim Smalley) to Swedish, we can perhaps use this one to attract new members.
Hi Björn.
It is nice to see that there is one other active member then me in Scandinavia I received the report yesterday and going to try and get a e-mail to the others see which ones that would be interrested!! mmmmmmm midnattskörning låter ju riktigt hett, det hade jag gärna ställt upp på.
Jag tänkte även på om man skulle trycka ut en hög av dina brochyrer och försöka få ha med sig några ubåtar till båtmässan som ju går här i Göteborg.
I don't have a sub but I have had plans to build one since the late 80's. Somewhere I have plans for Hajen 1 but they are not very detailed nor made with RC in mind.
Robbe's XXI is looking very interesting though. Maybe, just maybe...
I believe that Norbert Brueggen has a kit availiable for Hajen, look at the following URL]http://www.modelluboot.de/KITS/Hajen_Ordner/Hajen.html[/url]
Please let us know how you progress, it's always interesting to hear what others are planning or building. The new Robbe sure looks impressive on the pictures I've seen.
Although I'm on the other side of the world and very south , I thought I'd write this because I like Swedish subs. I'm just putting the finishing touches to my Sjoormen.
it has a mechanical mixer that seems to work reasonably well. Will try and post pics if my Hotmail account will behave.
Re: Welcome to your scandinavian topic - This is for us scandina
Hi Bjorn and others. Bumping this thread.
My name is Mats Wergeland. I live just ouside Stockholm.
Just started an scratchbuild of my own design.
Have been building aeroplanes my hole Life but now i´ts time for an sub.
I will post an separate thread about the build later.
Do you know of any Moore "subbers" i Sweden?
I know that there is two in "Stockholms Skalabåtklubb".
Have been talking to them several times on the anual Hobby Fair in Stockholm.
Would be fun to hear from fellow builders about your boats and projects.
Maybe post links in ths thread?
Re: Welcome to your scandinavian topic - This is for us scandina
Hej Mats, hi!
I've known a few sub modellers previously but I lost contact with most of them when I had my computer replaced, simply lost their e-mail adresses (sloppy, I know)
I do have contact info to a guy called Robert in Stockholm who owns a 32 Parallell u-boat kit that might be for sale.
I live in the northern parts of Sweden and as far as I know I'm the only one in the area, I have a Disney Nautilus (Ray Mason kit) and a Type VIIc u-boat (Darnell kit)
