After much discussion between the EC and the various SubRon groups, it has been decided that the traditional formal competition known as the Annual SubRegatta will, for the time being, be dispensed with. The vast majority of modelers and attendees of the events around the country prefer the more relaxed atmosphere of the Fun Run format. Therefore, there will be no 2015 SubCommittee SubRegatta by name. In its place, the SubCommittee will focus its attention on supporting the many local SubRon Fun Runs. I am aware of many local SubRon Fun Runs that are in the process of being planned for this spring/summer/fall. As the planning progresses we will post the Fun Run schedule for all here on the Forum and in the pages of the SCR.
I am very happy to announce that the Indianapolis Admirals in Cooperation with the local SubCommittee SubRons will hold the 2nd Annual Carmel Fall Sub FunRun. The dates are August 7th-9th in Carmel, Indiana.
The Carmel group is really on their game and already have the link for the Hotels rooms ready to accept reservations.

This looks to be a really great summer, full of R/C Submarine activities in most areas of the Country. Many thanks go out to all of the SubRons who have events in the planning!
