Revell GATO wtc-is there a clear winner?

I've been trying to read every article on the Revell GATO builds and have seen, I think, at least 6 different systems being used as wtc's for this boat. Is there a comprehensive discussion on the pros and cons of the different ideas for this build? There sure seems to be a lot of input but I have a hard time deciphering what it all means.
