Just wondering, does anyone know the diameter of the rivets that appeared on the exterior casings of Gato/Balao class subs? I'm thinking of buying some rivets from Grandt Line to try to replicate the pattern but need to know the right size of the the originals in order to figure out what the nearest scale size is.
It may sound insane to go this far, but I want this model to look right. Having crawled all over the Cod several times, I'm amazed that Revell riveted up the fairwater of their model but not the hull.
