Guys,Got the boat about two or three weeks ago. Opened the box and reviewed the instructions. I have a few thoughts but want to see what the overall consensus is on building the model for R/C.
What glue is the best for this model if it will be doing R/C duty?
Any recomendations on props and prop shafts?
How should the hull be opened for the wtc? It looks like if the hull is cut just right, where the decks attach, the model can be opened in a similar way to Jim Buts Batfish model in the most recent Report.
Also what about the decks holding air? I have not looked at the decks but I will assume they do not have vent holes or slats between the wood sections.
What do you guys think? Wait untill Big Dave or Mr. Merriman has their prototypes running and are able to provide parts and instructions?
Also for those interested I may be able to post some pictures of the Pampanito from 2003. I will look for the pictures in case.
