Maxon Motors:
. Used Maxon motors with 1/8†shaft, (5 motors available). These motors will turn the propeller 2800+ RPM, on direct drive, with only .1 Amp draw on 12 volts. Maxon motors are made out of stainless steel with no venting holes. They look like they have been turned out of a solid block of stainless steel. These motors are made in Switzerland and are of very high quality and precision. They retail new for around $200.+ dollars. Used motor price with a new 1/8†to 3/16†Raboesch heavy duty U-Joint included: $50.00 each.
Belt Gear Drives:
. 1 new Sub-Tech Belt Gear Drive Unit. This unit has two 1/8†bore pinion gears. One being a 12 tooth pinion gear for a 2.5:1 ratio and a second 10 tooth pinion gear for a 3:1 ratio. $45.00 for the set.
