China admits to near disaster on board a USED Russian KILO submarine. Buying used submarines can be a dicey thing at times. Just ask the Canadians. But then again, quite a few of our GUPPY submarines served for many a year beyond our use of them(just like P-51 mustangs, jet aircraft by the dozens,-Sherman tanks, and small arms that we deemed as obsolete and sold, or gave to other countries).
