After I made the most monumental cock up with my Blueback hull, Ramesh (wheelerdealer) very kindly offered to rebuild it and put things right for me. The hull went off to him, and today it was waiting outside my front door when I came back from collecting my laundry.
I think he has done a great job on the boat, it's all in one piece, as rigid as a plank of wood and straight as a die.
Now it's down to sanding, filling, sanding, filling...did I mention sanding and filling?
OK, so I'll lose a fair bit of the surface detail, but it's nothing that can't be rectified later on.
So, a big public 'thank you' to Ramesh for all his hard work, let's hope that I can continue with the Blueback in the same vein and get her on the water where she belongs.
Thanks Ramesh!! (the cheque is in the post....
