"Gut Holz" - planks, maybe the way to go!

Issue 26, page 21. Anyone ever try a type VII deck like this one? Looks like it might be interesting and a little easier to do yourself, other than cutting all the small slots out. Maybe my upcoming Revell deck, humm,, now theres an idea Casey!! Any ideas on how to split this hull,, ? Forward to aft, over the tanks at the waterline? Or not at all,,, thanks Jeff
