I have been amazed lately at all of the great deals that I have been coming across for parts and kits in the hobby.
Ebay has been a great source, but even better have been RCgroups and RC universe.
Complete sub kits with fully populated WTC's for $350 ~ $500. I am amazed at the discount rate of used or (not used !) kits and components.
There seems to be a high turnover rate with people.
Have others noticed this trend lately ?
To give a better example, I have been able to acquire 1- WTC 3", 1-WTC 3.5", and 1-WTC3.5" twin screws, fully populated with APC, failsafe, servos, motors, etc for $650 (!!!). Yes, these "deals" did not happen over night, but none the less, I did not have to look very hard for them. I constantly see more and more deals.
I wonder if it is just a sign of the economic times ?
I find that a bit strange that the used market would have such a high mark down level.
Any thoughts ?
