031107-N-3312P-002 Norfolk, Va. (Nov. 7, 2003) -- The ensign is lowered for the last time as the floating drydock Resolute (AFDM 10) is deactivated following 58 years of service. Since arriving in Norfolk, Va. in 1983, Resolute safely drydocked more than 139 submarines and completed 55 shipyard restricted availabilities for Atlantic Fleet submarines. Here's an idea for a static modeler? Either a 1/96 SSN or SSBN in a AFDM being refurnbished and repainted?
That would look 'busy' at a IPMS.
