Help on selecting Gato class plans

I'm building a 1/96th scale Flasher (as it was in 1945) as a birthday surprise to my grandfather who served on her 6th and 7th war patrols. I'm looking for plans and I've contacted Floating Drydock, they've recommended plans for the USS Cod. Looking over my references, it seems the Cod's fill holes (limber holes?) are different in number and configuration. This is my main concern since I have enough detailed info on the conning tower and weapons to suffice.

Any advice?
