Hey all,
Are there any builders out there who are putting together any targets....perhaps stuff in 1/72 scale ? ...small frieghters maybe ?
I've been contemplating this idea. Due to the massive time committment involved in putting together any kind of nice scale model, I was just going to cast some real generic "cheapie" looking things....something that will float, look reasonably well (from a given distance), and give us something to launch some torps at.
Would there be any interest in this type of target in 1/72 scale ? If so, I might consider making some molds to produce copies. If not, I'll just build one off stuff for my own amusement. It just seems to me we are in desparate need of some enemy shipping......of all nationalities and eras.
Having said all this, I've got my type VIIc/41 to complete first so.....this would be a project for down the road. Just wondering if anyone has already got a jump on it.
