Heard from Wayne and he let me know that Barton Springs turned us down as a location for a fun run. Apparently, they are afraid our activity might harm the indiginous salamander which is unique to the area and endangered.
Which is a real bummer to me because it's not a fun run if you don't do some sort of irreperable harm to a local species.
Wayne is still working on securing a suitable Austin, Texas location.
