Yesterday we had our impromptu Holiday Breakfast Meeting in Lindenhurst. We were joined by members of the Empire State Model Mariners (ESSM). Our members have joined them and enjoy their regattas and urban sailing in Queens. We're know as their "Undersea Warfare Group". Each party is learning quite a bit from each other.
I brought show and tell regarding PROTEUS See post
U-91035, aka PROTEUS has returned to PRIORITY ONE in the Shipyard
Here’s a photo update of Frank Salerno’s ginormous 102” SSRN SEAVIEW, you can get a sense of scale wit the foreground Moebius Model which he picks details off of. You can tell Frank is a professional who worked at Grumman for a number of years in the model shop. That’s how he knew Ray Mason, Grumman’s (and the SC) well famed Videographer. It’s Ray’s original molds Frank casted this beauty from.

Happy sailing and may your surfacing always equal your dives!
