Hello Submariners,
I have been building RC boats for approximately 5 years. I use to build boats and planes in the 80's but dropped out. For a long time I wanted to build an RC sub. A fellow member of Fleet 4 Commanders sold me a partially complete Engel Patrick Henry. Fortunately there is still a lot of work to do. With the sub came an Airtronics Vanguard 6 channel radio and receiver in 75 mhz. From Ebay, I just purchased an 8 channel Robbe/Futaba Navy F14 radio in 75 mhz. The radio has the twin throttles, two sliding controls and an 8 function module installed. Tower hobbies still sells 75 mhz dual conversion receivers and crystals so I purchased one for a second sub when ready.
Looking forward to my first dive.
